Waiting times are occasionally unavoidable due to emergency cases. In order to avoid unnecessary delays, patients are requested to:
• Ask for a long consult for a medical examination/report or complicated problems.
• Ask for multiple appointments if more than 1 person requires seeing the doctor.
• Minimise telephone interruptions by indicating to the receptionist the brief reason for wanting to speak to the doctor. The doctor will only take emergency calls. Others will be returned at a later time.
Dr Tony Lian-Lloyd or GP registrar is available for after hour emergencies through the hospital. Emergency patients are seen at the hospital. Please contact the hospital on 86 487 888 for assessment
Home visits are available following discussion with staff and doctor to ascertain the necessity for it. This service is generally reserved for those people who are house bound due to age or lack of mobility or who are seriously or terminally ill.
